The Process

1. Finding the right job

We start by securing positions that would be suited to your specific needs. We would provide you with a copy of the position and run description to ensure we meet these needs. Where there is something that you are not quite sure of, it is good for us to let the hospital concerned know this, as the world is becoming more and more reliant on the international workforce. In turn is likely that the hospital could make the necessary adjustments to the position to ensure that it does meet your needs.

For House Officers or Senior House Officers, our year is broken into 4 quarters beginning from the last week in November, rotating in February, May and August. Our Registrar year commences in the first week of December and is broken into 2 halves, rotating in June. All other positions, including Senior Medical, Nursing and Allied Health are generally less structured with vacancies all year around.

2. Location

If you have a desired location in mind, or know of a specific role you that would like us to target, let us know early. We work with all public and private hospitals and general practices, opening up more opportunities for you.

3. Registration & Immigration

For Nursing or Allied Health this is something that needs to be actioned immediately. We will arrange for the necessary registration information to be forwarded to you, no matter where you are. Once this process is underway you’re half way there

With medical registration once we have secured the position we would then go through the registration process with the relevant Medical Council. Again we will co-ordinate all this for you by sending the application forms and being the receiving point and / or contact point for the Council. Following that we would provide the necessary documentation for you to obtain a work permit. These requirements vary depending on where you are located, and are unique to each position

4. Accommodation

Accommodation is rarely provided by the employer, however we are more than happy to coordinate any arrangements that may be required. Whether it is just for you or for your whole family, we have a wide range of contacts to ensure the right accommodation is found

5. Once you are here

Once you have arrived at your new destination there may be a few processes that need to be completed. This also varies from place to place, but we will be there to co-ordinate all these requirements for you.
